Our Story
Blown Away Bouquets started as a passion project, amid a growing pandemic and heavy layoffs, by two coworkers turned best friends. Jaclyn & Sabrina started their forever “work wife” status as managers at Target, following each other to the floral industry, and talking each other into the venture now known as Blown Away!
Through their extensive experience in floral wholesale, Sabrina as a buyer and Jaclyn as a sales rep, they commonly dreamed up floral business ideas and finally put their finger on a missing niche- a hand-tied bouquet with so many flowers that you need both arms to hold it. Whether for a special occasion, or “just because,” they wanted to offer that, over-the-top, instagrammable-experience that only celebrities seem to have. Each collection is designed with this core value in mind, with flowers ranging from Sunflowers to Ranunculus.
Simply put: spoiling your loved ones with dozens of Roses shouldn’t be so hard. We can’t wait to blow you away with each bouquet!
About Sab
Although Sabrina graduated from UT- Austin with a BBA in 2016, dreams of her own business didn’t come about until she was sourcing exotic flowers during her last gig at Mayesh. She’s good with numbers and has a unique eye for design (as featured in our bouquets). Don’t be fooled by the timid smile and gentle demeanor, she’s constantly plotting.
Fun fact: Flowers aren’t her only passion. Sabrina’s first love is animals and she is currently a pre-vet student. Whether you choose to play with flowers or animals, both possess similar therapeutic qualities for those that come across them <3
